A 5th generation native Californian, I was raised in a country home in the Sacramento farm valley and attended college at California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo. I presently live in Southern California. In 1998 I happened upon a haiku by the Japanese Master Kobayashi Issa, and I've been hooked on writing and reading haiku ever since.
